| Pinterest is a social network that has been creating a lot of interest online in recent months, but what exactly is it and how does it differ from old favourites Facebook and Twitter? What is it? Pinterest is a new social network that allows users to 'pin' the things they love from around the web into one place. These 'pins' are organised into 'boards.' Try to think of Pinterest as a great big interactive scrapbook where you can show off everything you're interested in, and follow, as well as comment, on others with similar interests. Anytime you pin something, you are given the option to share it across your Twitter or Facebook pages.
