Ping!, which partners with the English Table Tennis Association, is a three year street ping pong project that provides social and competitive table tennis across the UK for free. From now until 31st July absolutely anyone can play at one of the 475 tables spread over 8 English cities. There is no need to book a place, and bats and balls are provided. According to Ping!, the scheme is all about creating a sense of community spirit and getting more people interested in sport in the run-up to the Olympics.
